Great local Lake. Went camping 2 nights. Visited beach area Not a fan of some of the crowd that visits. Some out of staters were trashing the place. I also had to help a lost girl around 5 look for her family and the 2 parents didnt react and they could not have cared one bit that she was gone or missing. That was unsettling. Other than that, fabulous place to grill play and swim

Very picturous setting, a lot of waterfront campsites so you can swim/boat launch steps away from your tent/RV. There's a boat rental and a small store with snacks within the park. Walmart is a ~15 minute drive if you need to restock any camping essentials.

Glows: spacious sites, scenic, great cell phone reception, small beach which my toddler loved. Grows: bathrooms are not clean. Poor drainage so theirs pools of water. Mud and dirt all over the benches. No matter which one I want to at bathhouse five, they were all the same.

Park entry is covered by your seat, so there is nothing to pay at the gate. Bring a towel, water and something for lunch. There are grills if you want to cook, and the restrooms and playground are near the beach.
