Rider terms, liability waiver, and refund policy

Last updated July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you (the rider) and the shuttle operator you book with through Action Shuttle on aicente.com. By booking, paying for, or riding a shuttle, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not book.

1. What the service is

Action Shuttle lists local shuttle operators and lets you reserve a seat, or the whole vehicle, and pay online. Rides are shared unless you book a private charter. The operator provides the transportation. aicente provides the booking software.

2. Schedules and estimated times

All departure times, arrival times, trip durations, and stop times are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road conditions, mechanical issues, passenger delays, and other factors outside the operator's control can change them. Do not book a ride if you cannot tolerate a delay. For flights, appointments, or connections, allow generous extra time. The operator is not responsible for any loss caused by a late arrival or a missed flight, train, bus, event, appointment, or connection.

3. One vehicle, limited seats

An operator may run a single vehicle with limited seats. Seats and time slots are sold on a first-paid basis. A reservation is only confirmed when payment is completed. Adding items to a checkout does not hold a seat beyond the short checkout window shown at booking.

4. Payment, holds, and confirmation

Prices are shown per seat before you pay and are charged in full at booking through our payment processor. Your seat is held briefly while you complete checkout; if you do not pay within that window the hold is released and the seat returns to inventory. Your booking is confirmed only after payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation.

5. Cancellations and refunds

If the operator cancels a trip and cannot provide a comparable alternative, you receive a full refund of the amount you paid for that trip. That refund is your sole and exclusive remedy for a canceled trip.

Rider-requested cancellations: contact the operator as early as possible. Refunds for rider-requested cancellations are at the operator's discretion and may be reduced or declined for late cancellations or no-shows, because a held seat cannot always be resold. Refunds, when issued, go back to your original payment method and may take several business days to appear.

6. Assumption of risk

Travel by motor vehicle carries inherent risks, including accidents, injury, illness, and property loss. By riding, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks. You are responsible for your own conduct, your belongings, and, if applicable, any minor or person in your care.

7. Limitation of liability and waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator and aicente, and their owners, drivers, employees, and agents, are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, missed connections, missed flights, missed events, lost wages, or lost opportunities, arising from or related to your booking or ride.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total combined liability of the operator and aicente for any claim arising from or related to a booking or ride is limited to the amount you actually paid for that specific trip. You release and waive all claims beyond that amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Lost items, conduct, and refusal of service

Keep your belongings with you. The operator is not responsible for items left on the vehicle. The operator may refuse or end service, without refund, for anyone who is unsafe, intoxicated to the point of risk, abusive, or in violation of these terms or the law. No illegal activity, no smoking, and no open containers except where lawful and permitted by the operator.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator and aicente from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms, your conduct, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you consent to that jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

11. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated; the version in effect when you book applies to that booking. Questions, cancellations, or refund requests: contact the operator at (351) 242-3683 or through the operator's profile on aicente.com.

This page is a plain-language rider agreement provided for convenience. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state before relying on it, and confirm your insurance and any transportation licensing required for your operation.
