How to follow up on one specific product
Put customers of one product into their own list, so the follow-up can be about the thing they actually bought.

Before you start
A list per product sounds like admin and pays for itself the first time you have something to say to exactly those people: a refill, an accessory, a recall, a version two. The follow-up email can also be genuinely useful rather than promotional, which is what earns the open on the next one.
You will need: a connected store, a list for these customers, one campaign.
How to set it up
- 1Connect your store and choose the Purchase a specific product template.
- 2Set the product on the trigger.
- 3Open the list step and choose the list for customers of that product. Create it first if it does not exist.
- 4Set the wait to roughly your delivery time plus a couple of days.
- 5Assign the follow-up campaign. How to get the most out of it beats another offer.
- 6Activate.
What goes wrong
- An empty list step, which does nothing and is easy to miss because the flow still looks complete.
- A follow-up that arrives before delivery. Check your actual shipping time rather than your promised one.
